Why buy a GCCF Registered Kitten?

Updated: Jul 7

Goog question! so yes ....why a registered kitten from a dedicated Breeder?

When buying a pedigree kitten there are 2 choices – do you go on Pets*Homes and get the nearest, cheapest little kitten that can be picked up tomorrow, just taken away from its mother or do you wait for a properly weaned, fully vaccinated, microchipped kitten that has been carefully bred to eliminate inherited diseases? From someone who is breeding for money or from someone who is breeding to make the most beautiful, healthy kittens? Who has many years of experience and will be there if you have questions and if you need support.

You may be disappointed that there are not loads of kittens for sale on the SBSH website – members are not motivated by producing loads of babies to make fast money and you will only see for sale litters of kittens that have been born when the time is right for the mother and breeder.

You may have to go on a waiting list and, in these days of ‘want it now’, that can feel frustrating.

But we hope it will be worth it.
