How to Exhibit your pedigree BSH cat in a GCCF Cat Show.
To exhibit British Shorthair cats in the UK, you’ll typically do it through the
GCCF show system (the main UK pedigree cat council). The events list goes through 2027 itself further than January.
1) Make sure you’re showing a GCCF-registered cat
You need a GCCF-registered pedigree cat and the correct registration/ownership details for the show entry process. The GCCF rules and entry guidance cover what’s required to enter GCCF-licensed shows. (gccfcats.org)
2) Read the “Guidelines on Entering Shows” (new exhibitor route)
Start with the GCCF’s own newcomer/exhibitor guidance:

3) Learn the practical requirements before you book
Key things to check before you apply entries:

Veterinary examination/health requirements are part of GCCF show expectations (including that every cat must be examined by a vet for certain show conditions). (gccfcats.org)

4) Find a show and enter in the right classes
Find a GCCF cat show, download the schedule/entry form, and enter your British Shorthair in the correct class for its sex/age/coat/colour requirements as listed in that show schedule.
The Southern British Shorthair cat club/variety committees may also provide breed-specific helpful context, but class eligibility is governed by the show’s GCCF schedule and rules. 5) Think about jumping into the show (help out/train)

6) Use breed/community support
