Officer Elections:
Jane Spall was re-elected as Chair.
Sue Dalton-Hobbs was re elected as Vice Chair.

Committee 
Kelli Bickerton was re-elected as part of the 3 year rotation to the Committee.
Dr Frances Henson & Sally South were approved as Committee members following their co-opt in 2025.

Rules: 
The Rules were amended to allow under 16's to join Free of Charge, unanimously. 

Secretary Report
Sue gave a verbal report that outlined the club was receiving more requests to join, a number of requests for the Langford discount code, members asking how to get a prefix and some asking how to start showing and get their websites listed on our website Breeders page. 

BAC Representatives
Dr Fran Henson had expressed a wish to attend the BSH BAC given her interest in Genetics and as a practicing Vet which was agreed would be very useful to the BAC. 
Fran Henson & Eleanor Gray were elected as 2026 reps. 

Committee reports
All members had received reports prior to the meeting.

Accounts , Media inc Website and Facebook, stud page, kitten list, BAC and Council reports prior to the meeting.  There was some excellent feedback about the club show video's  shown on the website and facebook, and a request to include HHP's in the video of the BSH cats done at the show. They are videoed at BIS but this was a very important request and will be carried out from now on.

There was a very good discussion around informing members of their benefits and the new free of charge rule for under 16's which has already been actioned. 
Shelagh Heavens gave an additional verbal report about the accounts and how Bank Accounts are costing more. 

3 members including a brand new member thanked the club for the information and help they received and suggested they provide testimonials, which the committee and Sue Dalton-Hobbs was delighted to hear.  
Some members had reported they received enquiries via the Breeders listing page which is actually the "Top Visited " page on the site according to google stats!  and the welfare& Kittens page too. However the Kittens page doesn't have any available at the moment so members were encouraged to submit photos and there was a discussion around simplifying the format and requirements. Members also felt it would be useful to be reminded of the benefits of being a member and increase their visibility to the public via the club's website.
